The Homestead Story
After endless hours of rearranging rooms, shopping for friends and family, and binge watching every design show out there, someone told a young girl, "you should be an interior designer!" The rest is history!
Meet The Team
Lilly has had a passion for design since childhood, which led her to obtaining a Bachelors degree in Interior Design with an additional minor of Art and Design from Texas State University in 2011. During the summer months, working at Garner State Park, solidified her love of our river region. After completing an architectural internship with John Graves and Associates here in Uvalde, Lilly went on to work in the lighting industry and residential interior design. After working for a lighting design studio as well as a commercial lighting manufacturer, her family moved to Arizona, where she worked in a residential design studio. After many years of small interior projects along the way, it was time to officially open a studio!
Homestead Design
Jennifer is a Uvalde native with design roots as deep as the oaks that line our streets. A die hard creative, Jennifer has a portfolio and work history including graphic design, marketing and fashion design. After receiving her Bachelors of Education from Texas Tech University, she was an owner and operator of Casa Uvalde, a home design resource center. After starting a family and moving on from the business, she joined the Homestead Design team, and has been a creative asset we can't live without! She is also the creative mind behind North High St., give it a follow for interior inspiration!
